Alone (Sep 2020): B-
I have to qualify "September 2020" because there's a different Alone that came out in January 2020, WTH.
Alone is the simple and straightforward story of a woman who is stalked by a predatory man and must ultimately fight to survive. That's all I'll say about the plot; I went into it not knowing anything else and enjoyed it that way.
The premise is unoriginal but the movie makes up for it by being very well-executed. It's tight, dramatic, and best of all it's not dumb - I don't think I shook my head or rolled my eyes once.
Alone is a solid thriller that's worth watching albeit fairly forgettable.
